My Aon Experience
My recent work is hidden away in Aon's global applications that I have been contributing to and working on for the past 10 years.
My work over the past decade has allowed me to gain great skills in the web development field. I have been challenged to become more creative while staying up to speed in the ever changing world of web development.
Working at Aon has given me opportunities to work directly with business application stakeholders and project managers. This allowed me to be deeply involved in the development cycle from start to finish.
His & Hers
Caleb and Sara Davis have a band called His & Hers and needed a web presence. All they wanted was a basic site with information about the band, upcoming show dates, videos, instagram feed, contact form, audio player for thier newest cd and also ability to purchase that cd.
Normally when doing side business I always purchase templates or themes from ThemeForest. I can then use my web development skills to quickly and easily reengineer the templates to fit exactly what my clients need. A major consideration is this allows my price point to stay relatively low as wix.com is putting web dev side workers out of business!
Dogwood glass features completely unique "one of a kind" stained and fused glass. Each piece of glass is hand cut, foiled, soldered or kiln fired individually.
They needed web exposure with basic e-commerce ability via PayPal. I again started with a base template from ThemeForest and then reengineered the entire site to incoprate the shopping atmosphere.
This was accompolished using PHP and MySQL. We also have created a fully custom Admin application to allow them to update inventory pricing, images, etc.
Freelance Full-Stack Developer
Currently, I am working as a Freelance Full-Stack Developer. My current client projects include EMA Resources out of Mocksville and Smith Reynolds Airport out of Winston-Salem. Using the latest Angular and mixing in WordPress for Content Management.
Worked as a Full-Stack developer but really just a senior Front-End developer who’s still awesome with the server-side. Rebuilt old ASP.NET Web Forms to new age ASP.NET MVC WebApi. Used AngularJS to create the interactive aspects of the application.
Web Product Specialist
Again worked as a Full-Stack developer but building on top of the Kentico Content Management System again using ASP.NET MVC but with Knockout.js and jQuery Templates for the Front-End.
